No. A formal diagnosis is not required to receive a Behavior Treatment Plan. What matters most is that there are behavioral goals or challenges you'd like to address in a thoughtful, individualized way.
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the situation and the availability of the care team for collaboration sessions. Most plans are completed within 2–4 weeks of the initial intake.
